History
New Leaf Technologies, Inc. has behind it years of professional experience and satisfied clients who appreciate the value of technology professionals who also speak the language of business.
With a background in geology, Brian Gaines, founder of New Leaf worked at Mostardi-Platt Environmental, a subsidiary of General Electric as an Emissions Testing Engineer and Report Expeditor. At this organization is when Brian was first exposed to software development.
After discovering the excitement and satisfaction of software programming, Brian decided to make a career change. He started his full-time IT consulting career with Bond Technologies, Inc. in March, 1998 where he learned multiple programming languages and standard development methodologies while delivering solutions to Fortune 1000 companies.
In 2002 Brian began his work as an independent contractor and continues to make an impact today with the incorporation of New Leaf Technologies, transforming how companies design and implement web solutions utilizing cutting edge technology and employing proven development methodologies.
Through successful partnerships with professionals in the web hosting and graphic design industries, Brian and New Leaf can provide value-add services other technology companies cannot. Years of IT experience has resulted in a growing list of successful software projects including custom applications for many industries including Financial, Media, Insurance, Manufacturing, and Transportation. A diverse technical skill set enables us to deliver client/server development, web development, database design and development, and application support.
